Areas closed for residence permits can be opened in Alanya

Representatives of the Alanya business have started negotiations with the authorities about the closed areas of the resort. Head of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) Eray Erdem and the president of the Alanya Contractors Association (MUTBIR) Mustafa Kucyuker went to Ankara to draw the attention of officials to the problem. They call for the opening of the districts of Alanya for obtaining a residence permit by foreign investors.
The districts of Mahmutlar, Avsallar, Kargicak and Kestel, popular with foreigners, were closed for obtaining a primary residence permit. This has seriously affected the dynamics of the real estate market. Foreigners who wanted to live in these areas postponed the purchase of real estate. Therefore, developers who were counting on foreign investors sounded the alarm.
Representatives of the Alanian business insist that the rights of foreign home buyers are protected. Foreign property owners support the tourism sector in the low season.
They make a tangible contribution to the economy of the district.
Members of the Alanian delegation proposed a solution to the problem to the authorities. Positive developments in this matter are expected in the near future.
